As an exhibition revolving around 17th century paintings and objects. We tell the story of religious tolerance and intolerance in the Dutch Golden Age. By creating a method to enhance a number of works through the projection of sound and image. With the help of depth camera’s and projections, our system revealed hidden paintings underneath the exterior works.
Imposing pictures by great masters from the heyday of Dutch painting, the exhibition aims to provide an answer to the question: how tolerant was the Netherlands back then, and what can be seen of this attitude today?
